The company specializes in helping San Francisco businesses get into compliance with the City's Recycle and Compost Separation Ordinances (RCSO). Their teams visit hotels, apartment complexes, and commercial buildings to ensure waste, recycling, and compost are sorted correctly.

But behind the scenes, they had no unified system for tracking where their workers were, what properties had been serviced, or what issues were being found.

Their biggest operational problems included:

• No real-time visibility into which properties were completed or pending
• No structured way to clock in/out at each property
• Issues and contamination concerns often lost in calls, texts, or notes
• No confirmation that workers followed the required service order
• Field teams switching between multiple apps throughout the day

A Custom Desktop & Mobile App With Deputy Integration

We built a unified application with:

• A desktop operations dashboard for dispatchers and managers
• A mobile field application for workers servicing properties
• A custom API connector to Deputy Timekeeping, allowing site supervisors to see directly from the app who from the team is clocked in/out

This integration keeps the entire workflow — routing, time tracking, issue reporting, and compliance checks — inside a single system.

The result is a streamlined operations platform designed specifically for waste sorting workflows and RCSO compliance.

   Notes and photos are submitted instantly to operations for follow-up.
5. Live operations monitoring
   Managers see:
   • Completed, in-progress, and pending properties
   • Worker check-in and check-out history
   • Issues logged by property and type
   • Timekeeping synced through Deputy
